I've been riding around in a pair of Kursks for a few weeks, and I'm a bit disappointed.
1) The stiffness of the soles is oversold, IMO; they flex a lot off the bike, and hot-foot me on the bike.
2) The grippiness of the toe complicates getting into clips and straps. That, plus the bar pattern on the tread tends to hang up on the back of the cage. I x-actoed some of the tread at a 45 degree angle, which helps, but not as much as I would like.
3) Minimal padding on the tongue, along with no padding on the "collar," makes them harsh on the upper foot and ankles, respectively.
For now, I've gone to using uncleated Lake MX 101s on my pedals. Flipping into clips with these feels like smacking the pedals with a baseball bat, but at least they don't hurt my feet so much.
