I have used other models of double kick stands and I like them. They make the bike sturdy so it doesn't topple over - even in the wind.

Any kickstand that mounts near the bottom bracket will be a disappointment, no matter how cool or engineered or expensive it is. The BB is just a bad balance point for a bicycle. period.

If you carry a lot of stuff on your bike and have to load baskets or panniers, neither of these designs are good because the bike will topple when you are loading. For loading a bike, the absolute best design is the horseshoe stand. These were popular back when peoplel actually used bicycles to haul stuff around and you can still find them overseas. The very best are from Japan and are used on the mamacharo bicycles. Check out this load, then check out the horseshoe kickstand. You can't do this with any old kickstand, paartnaaa.
