Yeah, wipeouts suck. I had one on ice last year, and I've gone down one other time in the wet when another cyclist turned and cut me off. Both resulted in some good bruising and brake hoods that needed to be knocked back into place.

Wet leaves are dangerous, you really have to treat them like wet paint, gravel, or even ice. I slow way the hell down whenever I'm approaching wet leaves: turns, descents, places where hard braking seems likely.
