It's still worth $1000 in the seller's mind. I believe, as others do, it is a fair price considering the paint job is worth nearly that much, if not that much fresh from the painter. If it had been my size, I would have considered a bid. But it is at least 10cm too small.

My '66 Paramount is worth about $2000 in my mind when I consider the expense and effort it took to bring it into the condition it is in. Could I sell it for this amount? Probably not in today's market. But maybe someday. I don't care when.

Too bad you became so hung up over the seller's typo about real Paramounts not being made after the early '80s.
