The red SR800 went for $500 (it had a fresh powder coat on the frame and new decals, plus original 600 group), the blue SR500 for $425. Those were my asking prices...basically what I had in them (bike plus parts). Both were sold to the first people who saw them.
Most of my finished bikes go for under $500 and they all start with a vintage mid-late 80's Cannondale aluminum frame. It's...a hobby. I do about one of these each month
Now working on an 88 Black Lightning (the one with the black frame & full black colored Suntour Edge group) that's been presold to a local guy who's been waiting patiently for a while. Mostly I do 58 or 60cm bikes because that's what fits me. After I finish a resto/refurb I ride them for 100 miles or so to make sure they're right before I sell them. Sometimes...they stay at home =:-)
I live in Northern VA just outside DC, usually have 6-8 frames or partial bikes waiting in line. E-mail is
rccardr@cox.net if you'd care to correspond. I'm a global guy.
