Some of these points makes no sense:
1) Cycling can't help you get into school. It's a collegiate club sport with no recruiting.
2) How do they fell about other sports? There's some great research that shows that cheerleading and football are much more dangerous than most people think.
3) Your experience in high school is only partially about getting into college. There's a lot more. If you miss the rest of it, you're going to have a tough time out there in the real world.
4) They're teaching you a terrible lesson. You can't control danger. There's risk in everything. Drive a car lately?
