I'd have sworn on a stack of Bibles that I read it on DT Swiss' web site. But I've gone back and can't seem to find anything about it.
I know I read it on teh Interwebs, so it must be true!
I do not think that bike manufacturers are always correct necessarily but my stock Alfine dynamo hub front wheel on my Civia Hyland Rohloff has DT double butted spokes used on both sides. It also uses DT rims.
