Check out the Edgewater hotel (http://www.edgewaterhotel.com/edgewater_home.aspx). Its on the waterfront, close to the stadiums, access to the trails, and close to the nightlife and bars (Belltown area).

There's also the Seattle waterfront Mariott down the street from the Edgewater too (http://www.marriott.com/hotels/trave...tt-waterfront/).
