I would suggest that this particular sketch, which aired on the BBC comedy show "Monkey Dust" (I saw it first hand) is a pretty accurate reflection of public opinion towards cyclists and the attitude that some have towards use of the road. Quite probably it's based on the behaviour of some cyclists observed in London.
....And it is very funny indeed!
Anyone who has spent any time in BF should see how that is also an accurate reflection of way too many cyclists who post here.
