The Sette is spring loaded. In fact, it is identical to the Forte.

I have been using the Forte kit for 2-3 years, even through winter, with no problems. Just make sure you have that chain short as can be. Oh, and instead of getting the chainring bolts, get a bashguard. A BBG bashguard is only $12 and will let you use your existing bolts, protect the ring/chain and helps keep grease off your leg.
