1000watt, great! I can't see the pictures due to a firewall here at work, but I'll look when I get home. Sounds like you've got it doing what you want, though.

Can you tell me something about the ends of your axle on the hubmotor? It has flat spots to help transfer the torque to the bike dropouts and/or torque arms, right?

What size is the flat area? That is, if you were to slip a perfectly-sized open-end wrench onto the flat part, so you could turn the axle with the wrench with zero slop, what size would the wrench be? 1/2-inch? 12mm? ...etc.?
