Further research showed that the scheme I listed for 1965 was in use well into 1968. I might be wrong on the tubing decal as well, or it changed sometime during this period - I'll have to check. This would fall into place with your frame - it was decaled with the '68 decals, but wasn't mated to a hub until the following year.

I also located up a good photo of a '68 that shows pinstriping was used that year, same for a '66. It could be that pinstriping was used since 1965 as well, and I just haven't found a detailed enough photograph to see the remnants.

That said, your seattube bands don't add up with anything - are you sure two of them aren't missing? While it could be that this frame, being a late '68, has the earlier decal set paired with the single pair of foil seattube bands of the '69-72 scheme, I would find it quite remarkable.

P.S.: Incidentally, there is a blue, 1965 Ladies' Sports on Flickr that doesn't conform to anything. No white tail, no nothing. For now, I'll consider it an oddity and won't address it - yet.
