It sounds like a decent price for a Centurion Ironman with mixed components depending on where you live. In Southern California it would cost more. In my opinion none of the Dave Scott Ironman frames ever had real desirable paint jobs, so the spray paint may be an improvement. If you plan on keeping it and treating it nice (as you mentioned above) you can probably get it sand blasted and powdercoated for less than $100.
