Cyclist Struck And Killed By Garbage Truck In Manhattan

A woman riding a bicycle was struck and killed by a garbage truck in
Manhattan Sunday.
Brandie Bailey, 21, of Brooklyn, was hit at Avenue A and Houston
Street. She was taken to Beth Israel Hospital, where she later died.
Police say the driver of the sanitation truck, which is owned by a
private company, was unaware he hit Bailey.
He has not been charged with any crimes in connection with the accident.
