I don’t know exactly what happened because there was a car in front of me that braked suddenly but there was a lady in a black suv halfway out of her car and half way in the middle of the road after she had pulled out from the stop sign on a cross street. As she backed up a man still standing and holding his bike came with her. His front tire was somehow attached to her bumper. He must not have been hurt but he was, understandably mad. I was on a one way road and still can’t quite figure out how she hit him. He freed his bike and threw it on the ground and started towards the driver which is when I called 911, she got back in her car and took off and he sat down next to his bike. There was another car stoped so I relayed the details to 911 and went on my way.
I wonder what will happen to the driver if they find her. She was in the wrong and she shouldn’t have left, but I believe she probably was scared of a large man charging at her. Hopefully she stopped down the block.

I ride this road all the time, so it had me a little shook up, the cross street is tricky and I usually turn a block early to avoid it. I always watch the drivers on the cross streets, because there are so many accidents on these two one way roads but I’ll be even more vigilant in the future.
