The driver was charged because he holds a CDL and was operating a class 8 truck. Had this clown been a class D driver in an suv he would most likely have gone on his merry way with a slap on the wrist. Happy to see him charged though. This was no accident, a good driver waits the few seconds for whatever it is to get out of the way, whether it's a car,bicycle ,squirrel ,cow ,another truck backing onto the highway, sheriff's deputy looking the other way, the list goes on and I've not run over any of that stuff. Totally inexcusable , the entitled b**** just figured he would shove his way past and killed someone. For the record, an overtaking collision is either negligent homicide or pre-meditated murder, not really any grey area . I didn't see him is an admission of guilt!
