Me personaly i got better things to do than spell and grammer check posts. Things like oh i dont know work on my bike go out on a ride. Clean a place out in my room to put my bike in for the winter....
Oh and to the OP waht was a good old fasion typo. You know the things you do when you time your key strokes wrong or your fingure hits the wrong key. And this is a sub forum not a folder (even though it uses a folder icon)

Besides those things can make a huge mess of your spellign jst as fast as they can correct it. Try writeing out a big email with gmail then spell checking. Theres a accident waitign to happen. It corrects spell to speel lol.

I dislike bad spelling and grammer. Some folks make points that you want to understand and learn from, but are hard to comprehend with certainty. Otherwise, random misspellings happen due to a hurried nature of getting the post accomplished. I've gone back and edited, but toher times don't ahve the time.

And oh ye to the original poster proper gramer would be in this folder not on this folder
Just cause he wants to hassle others about their grammer

And, in addition, you pick up habits from the people with whom you associate. No one is asking for perfect English, but something close to it would be an improvement. I would hate for people visiting this site to think cyclists are unschooled, illiterate morons--whether or not that is the actual case.

Bikes: My frame is covered in reflective tape. After adding ridiculously large handlebars, a comfy seat, and enough carrying capacity to haul a Thanksgiving grocery run home, the manufacturer wouldn't recognize it.

We all make tpyos once in a while. Happens to everyone. But how many of us dismiss the comments made by other members when their posts are barely legible? If someone has problems with basic spelling and punctuation, not to mention sentence structure, does this affect how you view their comments?
By the way, that was intentional, ok?

Human mind will still interprate it as "this sentence has errors in it". Even with all the transposed letters and spelling errors. Yours show a valid point though. Even with major grammer and spelling errors you still get your point accross. There was a email that made rounds some time ago that was like 12 or 15 lines long and had over 50 spelling errors and mixxed up letter. Yet just reading it and youd say wtf is this guy talking about then you re read it more carefully and see the errors.
Spelling esp with simply out of order letters is not very important in a writen or typed media. As lnog as all the lteters are thrwe and first and lsat are corerct we have no porblem readnig typed messages.
i included a few more mixxed up letters in my post some where but i bet untill most read this last line they did not even notice them. For those of you who did congratulate your self your n a very small group that makes up less than 25% of the worlds native english speaking population

I sent him spell corrected versions of the same emails i posted here as well. Explaing gmails screw up to him. Gmail if youve never used it is a beta email service from google. Its spell check system is um very beta. It stripped all the spaces out of one email i sent. It was correcting spelling to speeling. I dont know if some joker messed with the dictionary gmail uses or if it was screwed up to begin with.

Someone mispells. Another points it out. The anti-speller/grammar advocates say "who are you to say that's incorrect". Another posts with the maximum amount of errors possible in one post. The anti-speller/grammar advocates DECIDE thats too much and pound you even more. It's ironic that the the anti-speller/grammar advocates call the nitpickers elitist.
Long live the nit-pickers!

Amazing how you think the mind puts things together. Just don't forget, different minds put things together differently. That's why if you want a SPECIFIC message to be received, you have to deliver a specific message, not a message that's just in the ballpark.
