Yes, but this old fart's attack isn't aimed at just the cyclists who are going the wrong way or failing to stop at intersections. It's aimed at every cyclist who uses the public roadways, and, like others here have said, the basis of his complaint seems to be that he's afraid his own lousy driving is going to kill someone.

Luckily his town sits on a pretty decent MUP. And maybe for my sake he doesn't go over the bridge between his area and mine. I got a good chuckle when I read this in the paper.
