Disturbing PostSecret Publication Advocates Murder?

Is anyone else really disturbed by this? I know PostSecret has some edgy stuff, but this kind of thing is terrifying. I like the response that's up there and hope they reconsider this kind of thing. Would they post a "confession" about being tempted to smother babies or kill people of a certain race or religion?

Yeah, the idiot that posted this is like this guy, (I think Swit or Swift was his last name) that said the solution to poverty among children is to EAT THE CHILDREN! Completely unacceptable.

Yes, you are thinking of Swifts' "Modest proposal" which suggested that the Irish eat their children...
”I have been assured by a very knowing American of my acquaintance in London, that a young healthy child well nursed is at a year old a most delicious, nourishing, and wholesome food, whether stewed, roasted, baked, or boiled ...”
Is this the origin of Irish Stew? Were they served with boiled potatoes, before the famine?

Looks like a pseudo artsy attempt to be edgy by trying to point out the hypocrisy of selfish people who think of themselves as good people. Not really much to see here.

Funny for some reason this reminds me of something....Many years ago a guy was rearended in his car..he tried to sue...there was a court battle and the plaintiff lost....he had a bumper sticker on the back of his car that said..."Hit me I need the money" which cost him any legitimate argument. So in theory....any cyclist involved in an accident, in this nut balls area, would make him suspect...He needs a padded room.....yes it disturbes me.

Dogs like me.
I see this as a very pro-cycling piece of art. It quite clearly highlights what many see as the hypocrisy of the typical church-goin' moton. Religionists are probably more rightly offended by this art than cyclists.

If you've ever read "A Modest Proposal?" (isn't the title, paired with the subject matter hint enough of satire?) you didn't understand it.

this is actually relieving to hear. i've always been concerned about knowing how much credit a given individual deserves for a given accomplishment and have always wondered who i should turn to for answers in this area. thanks very much for tipping your hat as the go-to guy on this!

Roja, the article is obviously tongue-in-cheek. The author is using sarcasm, don't you see that?
You have been fooled. Just like when Jonathan Swift wrote A Modest Proposal, advocating tongue-in-cheek that the solution to child property was to eat the children, and thousands proclaimed "how can Jonathan Swift advocate eating children", they didn't get the joke. Apparently you don't either.
