some kids flew out in front of me on bikes the other day, residential street and I wasn't speeding thank God, If I'd been maybe two or three second sooner to that intersection there would have been a collision
they made faces at me as they passed, little turds

An irrational extreme. How does the notion that 10 year old kids probably shouldn't be playing on the streets at 8:00pm equate to locking them up for 16 years? All parents take reasonable precautions to protect their children from harm. This is one of them.
