"Share The Road Jerseys"
Saw the link to this site: https://www.sharethedamnroad.com/?utm...paign=CyclistK while I was looking at a friend's photo album on FB. Wonder if they would make a difference if everyone started wearing them, given all the (very) close calls and generally poor (to put it VERY nicely) attitude of drivers.

Also sadly there are too many motorists who do not understand bike lanes. Thinking as some in NYC that we aren't permitted to "ever" leave the bike lane, or who do not understand that when the outside line i.e. the line between the bike lane and the travel lane, of the bike lane brakes up into a dashed line that that indicates that the bike lane temporarily ceases to exist and that we should transition into the travel lane for our safety. Because the bike lane is approaching an intersection, or as I have on one of the roads that I ride on the road/bike lane is approaching a "traffic calming" devices that narrow the road.
Or as several of us have mentioned even worse they see a white line on the outside edge of the road (right side for US, left side for the UK and other areas) and presume that any space to the right or left (depending on where one lives) is a "bike lane" and assume that we cyclists "have" to ride in that space. Even though there is no pavement markers or road signs to indicate that it is a bike lane. Or that said space is too narrow or debris strewned for a cyclist to safely operate there.
