Bikes: 3 Rollfasts, 3 Schwinns, a Shelby and a Higgins Flightliner in a pear tree!

The steering linkage is on springs, is that what I see, or do the springs surround rods?

my guess is that feet on the axle is how it is steered and the springs add some damping very cool
