Wanted! Info on 'Felt Bandit'

Gidday there troops,

Anyone 'out there' own or have ridden a 'Felt Bandit Cruiser'?

Here's a link to what I'm referring to; https://www.bicyclestore.com.au/Felt-...-pr-20901.html

I'm looking at purchasing one off the net but being domiciled in New Zealand they are not exactly common on local roads, nor available from local retailers.

What I'm wanting to know is;

- how comfortable are they over a medium distance?
- what's the 3 speed gearing like? can you get up a decent gradient?

Any feedback postitive or otherwise IS appreciated.

Cheers guys.

Paul from NZ

Those chopper bicycles look nice, but I don't know about the comfort. My LBS had a similar one that was belt driven. I just can't help but notice the foot-forward riding position, and think, "recumbent without a seat."

I ride something similar to that bike, an Electra Rat Fink. While the riding position is quite comfortable, you might have a problem climbing very steep hills, due to the low seat and feet forward position. My bike has the same Nexus rear hub, and shifting is very smooth.

As for comfort, I never go more than 10-15 miles while riding mine. Personally, I don't think I would have a problem going farther than that.
