GOO Gone?

I got stains. I ve got black stains on my upper frame from my Fly riding pants rubbing and i want them gone. I dont want to mess with my nice paint [ well still semi nice ] so i am looking for the right product to remove the mess. Its not coming off easy, as i think its some kind of carbon that has stained it coming from the pants them self. WD-40 doesnt do anything and i dont know if i should use degreaser or what. I havent tryed Goo gone yet, but have had problems with that stuff in the past. Maby its not coming off?

Anyhelp is good

thanks

Try Denatured Alcohol. Also you do know about the [edit] link right? It's in the lower right corner of your posts?
