Need rear hub Dura ace 7850 or 7900

I can get the 7850 for about 20% less than the 7900. Is there a difference?

https://www.sheldonbrown.com/dura-ace.html has a brief discussion of these two hubs. There is a difference mechanically, but imperceptible functionally.
FWIW Shimano pricing seems to go up geometrically with time so 7850 parts 'may' also be cheaper in the future.

Either will be ok. I prefer the Ultegra and 105 hubs because the freehub body is a little heavier.
Avoid the 7800 and 7801. The right side axle bearings are inboard like an old freewheel hub.

Bikes: '96 Litespeed Catalyst, '05 Litespeed Firenze, '06 Litespeed Tuscany, '20 Surly Midnight Special, All are 3x10. It is hilly around here!

Another limitation to the 7800 and 7801 hubs is that they are 10-speed ONLY. Their aluminum freehub bodies have taller splines and won't accept 8 or 9-speed cassettes.
