Well, Kotter has it as his sig, so I expect a PM from Poo Brown anytime now.

What's wrong with this picture?

What on earth is he doing to that saddle!

Still on the topic of Landis, has anyone else noticed his odd pedalling style? He sort of "flaps" his feet as he gets toward the bottom of the stroke, it was really obvious last night with Sinkewicz sitting so close behind him and pedalling in a more conventional style.

HDTVKSS 07-21-06 12:40 AM

go post that over at the stage 17 puke fest. youl have all the lovos going out on the weekend and ditching their lance style 130 RPM hip rocking frenzy to Floyds quasi chicken dance style....

Thylacine 07-21-06 12:49 AM

Dear Bikeforums,
I was wondering, should I pedal in circles, or pedal toes down, or should I push down with the toes on the downstroke and up with the ankles on the upstroke?

HELP! It's really confusing! Oh, and how should I steer? Should the handlebars move from side-to-side like that? Should my elbows be bent? Where do I put my hands? HELP!

Hey lookie that, it's true! I got some free press!

Hey! Didn't Rick Astley perform a song called "Disco Duck"? Is there a conspiracy here? Has Ed been secretly training Floyd using his collection of cool music? Enquiring minds wish to know. :p

I'm ashamed to admit that I can correct you on the Disco Duck thing Matagi. It was a seppo DJ called Rick Dees.

The 70s were a mix of the sublime and the truly ridiculous - the Rolling Stones finest years, the birth of punk and new wave, and *shudder* disco.

Bugger! That had the makings of a nice consipracy theory. ;)

62vette 07-21-06 02:06 AM

Rick Astley is as guilty of as many music crimes as Rick Dees.

Actually no, Rick Dees is far more perfidious, he's been spinning bad pop music and he does that horrible American Top 40 thing that gets syndicated around the world. Like we need to know what seppos are listening to.

The only time I really think about my pedalling style is when I'm struggling on the hills and tell myself to keep my heels down.

Bottom line is that we had a fight last Thursday and all hell broke loose. Monday night we sat down and had the most difficult conversation of our lives. We have been together now for 23 years and she is all I know, so I am pretty devostated at the moment. Fortunately we are both respecting each other and trying to do right for our two kids.

Sorry to bring the forum down, but I'm hoping that sharing some of my burdon anonymously will help...time will tell.

Mate...real sorry to hear this...work hard at it...if it's to be, it'll work out in the end

Nah, Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick or Sheena Is A Punk Rocker from that era would rank much higher :)

That's motivational. Catholic priests have been using that technique for years.
