The ones that never cease to amaze me Daniel are the AFL footy players, though out in the boondocks I don't see them all the time like Melbourne people do. Watching the telly you don't get any true idea how friggin big some of them are until you see them at a match or in public. Sht there are some big suckers playing.

Too right.

Was all set to go to see Ronnie with a couple of gym buddies....until they pulled the pin and left me high and dry.

Search for RC on YouTube...some excellent stuff on there, inc. his 2475lb leg press for reps!!

St Kilda has had more than its fair share of weirdos and nutcases over the years IMO.

No aspersions being cast at certain BF posters of course!

Too right!

I've said this before, but we used to play at The Tunnel on Sunday nights, and me and me mate used to stand behind the giants when they were at the bar and try to imagine out marking them. Impossible!!

I expected Spider Burton to be huge -- and he was -- but I was really surprised at how huge Ritcho and Scott Turner were! Dunstall and Mick Martyn aren't super tall.

For sure the Fish was huge... I worked with an older guy (in his 50's) who was a big unit for his age - prob 6'4" & solid - and remember him coming back from lunch one day & saying how Fish had stood behind him in the line at the sandwich shop and that he "now knew what most other people felt like when he stood behind them".

EDIT: Just saw that RC clip.....effen insane!!!

I shall maintain a discreet silence.

Actually, I have no idea, just thought I'd chuck in a provoking comment is all.

eh, I don't think so. I'm just a fat old B-grade rider! It was "hands on the drops" kinda stuff; off the saddle and workin' the bars like I was doing dumbell rows! Thought I was gunna snap me 'goose neck'.

Rememer when quill stems were called goose necks? One of my mates still calls them 'goose benders'

Have you timed yourself up the 1/20?
I've only recently found out about all this Cycle2max stuff

Jesus Oz, you came past again and I missed it?!! Old Forest is a steep bugger isn't it? Know it well.
I went up the 1/20 yesterday as part of a 'nongs tour ... to hot to push though.
I'm in the 18's for the 1/20... will get into the 17's this year.
