Well hiring it and copying it would take less time than downloading it, I get all the extras and its better quality.
The only downside is that you gotta return the dvd.

didcha all read this:

Indeed, stage 12 started fast and furious, with many break moves initiated, but soon destroyed by a raging bunch. One early jump included Robbie McEwen and Tom Boonen, who was plagued by light stomach troubles since yesterday. Boonen didn't appreciate the riding of his Australian rival in the break, saying it annihilated the escapists's chances.
"Everybody was ready to work in that break to make it succeed," said the world champion, who later got his revenge on McEwen by winning the bunch sprint. "McEwen disturbed the flow by constantly coming up to the front and bringing down the rhythm. He was to one who ruined our break. I thought it was ridiculous."

from cycling news. https://www.cyclingnews.com/road/2006...sults/tour0612

Boonen is such a whinger.

Boonen is entitled to say whatever he likes. Robbie probably didn't want to have to contest the intermediates against someone like Boonen on top of busting a valve to keep a break away from the main bunch. Good tactics to shut it down I reckon.

Jaysus! Thought Rob Arnold was gonna go the grope on Tommo in their interview .
Glad they chose to interview some soccer commentator just as the coverage crossed to a Landis interview

For those of us dependent on rainwater tanks, this is wonderful weather.

Looks like we will get a chance to test our rain jackets if we decide to go out tomorrow.

why bother it ain't like you have a review process. The best you can hope for by replying is that you get told not to call 'em seppos again.

I wonder if we can get the word blipped.

Nope, but then you tend to use the word outside this thread, and if I recall (was it in the Tour de France subforum?) someone actually took exception to the use of the word.

I reckon if you confined your use of the word to TAT, no-one would give a rat's.

Guess you'll just have to refer to them by some other label as opposed to using a benign Australian colloquialism. "Over-sensitive bastards" seems to fit. OSB's for short.

Whatdya reckon Marty, Brian?
