I couldn't resist.

Yes, I have the sickness now. Picked this beauty up off of CL for $50. Schwinn Signature Cruiser. It's in great shape and I'm already planning some upgrades:
-new bars/grips
-Big Apple tires
-new seat
-new crank and chain?
-beer and fishing pole holder

I'm open to suggestions on any of the above or anything else.

It's amazing how excited I can get over a $50 bike...lol.

What's wrong with the bars? Those have the good rearward bend that I like. Just angle them back to meet your wrists natural angle.

The crank is also a "correct" traditional Ashtabula one piece cruise crank with a very appropriate chain ring. Keep them.

Big Apples are mega heavy. Personally, I get enough enjoyment from a lighter tire to justify the higher price.
