Fenders

Bought an older Electra 7D Cruiser with no accessories or fenders. If I decide to put fenders on, will only the Electra brand fit?

Your Bike Dealer should be able to sort this out , generally No, just by wheel size & tire width..

But by buying them from the bike shop, They, if like ours out here, will put them on , too

I plan to buy online and install myself, not have a bike shop do it. It does seem based on wheel size and tire width that I have a lot of options. Thank you.

I'm guessing that bike has high volume tires so you'd get the widest fenders. for example with my 40mm wide tires I use 50mm wide fenders. there's kind of a rule of thumb for sizing fenders over tires but I forget exactly what that it. it might 10mm wider, something like that

Thank you, the tires are 2.25 so I found fenders that said they would work with 2.25. Not the fender color I wanted but they are good full size fenders, I noticed some fenders are very short.
I visited Etsy on my fender quest and there is a guy who makes beautiful custom wood fenders. Wouldn't work for me because of the rain here but they were purty.
