Cruiser brake upgrades questions
I originally started hijacking a post
then figured I would start a new one more to the point.
looking to upgrade brakes on a few family beach cruisers with 3.5 inch tires. Two are shimano 3 apeeds. I haven’t seen too many options for upgrading to front brakes without having bosses on the forks.
I have been researching different options and haven’t found good solutions. I figured someone here could tell me yes, no, get a new bike, buy a golf cart….
Thanks!

Usually a caliper brake (look at Tektro Caliper Brake for Beach Cruiser) is a bolt-on. Amazon usually has them, but others too. Don't expect them to stop on a dime though.

Find a used wheel with a drum brake on ebay. I have bought quite a few that way and they look great on a cruiser.
