I remember that they had a "klunker" I believe... I missed a prime op to get that before they discontinued it. The Electra Super Moto 8i Step-Over. She was a beauty!!!
(Not my picture BTW)

Bikes: A couple old Schwinn Cross bikes , couple Specialized , a few Cruisers

Five years ago I ordered a Shimano 3 speed Nexus coaster brake wheelset , that I could never get to shift right . After months of effort , including buying an extra shifter and cable , and shift pin . None of it worked and I stuck it in the area over my garage until yesterday.
I decided to try and use it as a single speed .
I tried it with an acorn nut over the shift pin and with several cogs and chainring combinations.
I thought I had it figured out using the in with the acorn nut and a few drops of oil down inside the pin hole in the axle , thinking I had it in second gear .
The darn thing shifted into third on me while I was riding and was too high of gears for my comfort. I wanted to spin out around 10mph .
all of a sudden I was spinning out around 14 with a 32 chainring and a 19t cog .
Removed the pin and covered the axle hole with the acorn nut and I hit upon the right combination and now spin out at 9.8mph .
This allows me to climb the hills around here and on a 16 mile ride this morning averaged 8.6mph .
That’s what I call a cruiser .

After covid I'm lucky I can even breathe, let alone ride a bicycle of any type. I'll take any and ALL gearing that I can get. I've only recently been able to ride a bike without electric assistance... I've also, finally, managed to drop my weight from 267lbs to 189lbs. I can, hopefully, take my self-guided bike tour next year. I'm counting my meager blessings as I type.
