Electra Cruiser
Anyone done much to theirs? I put on fenders and now I don't like them (years later). I'm going to swap bars and get rid of my C9 sofa saddle.

Fenders seem bulking and ugly till you hit a mud puddle or ride in the slush in the winter.
I was riding a Schwinn Cruiser 5 with fenders for a couple years, now I have a Spitfire 5 without fenders, I am going to ride this all winter, so I am sure I will miss the fenders.

I have a few things I'm going to change to for a black and yellow theme. The bar tape will be for an older cruiser bar I came across. The fenders will go for sure.

This is why bikes are so much fun...it's so much cheaper and easier to customize them, provided you aren't chasing vintage auction items down on eBay. I'm not sure I'll ever stop changing my bikes, although I do feel like the "Cruising", more upright bar position is something I may finally stick with in all my years of modification. Post some pics when you finally add those yellow accents to the Electra!

Electra Cruiser
I bought the Electra because a friend of mine bought Townies to help his back pain. I gained a ton of weight and my back/arms were hurting so bad on regular bikes. Ill say this bike helped me get back on a bike (now I have 6 haha). I already got rid of the fenders and sofa saddle. I need to bar tape, maybe tonight.

Electra Cruiser
Yeah I do to but it's never when I need just that one part. I wish they would offer a choice between all one color or mix.

I tried straight bars on the bike but crank forward is not meant for leaning towards the bar. I went with this bar off another cruiser plus camo bar tape

Electra now owned by Trek.
Wait and see I suppose, but I thought they had come along way and should not have sold out. I dont have one, but do like the delivery bike and the classic.

I just bought two Electra Cruiser 7D's. One for me (flat black) and one for my wife (seafoam). I have only had mountain bikes since I was a teenager. Then, I went on a long ride and noticed that I kept just putting one hand on the handle bars because I wanted to straighten out my back. I have since noticed many others in this position riding around town. The cruiser is awesome with a great riding position.
I added a Electra rack like in the picture above and a kroozie. I am interested in some fatty-o tires too.
My wife added a wire basket and a bell.

Electra Cruiser
I didn't know that but oddly enough I looked at a Trek cruiser practically identical to the Electra 1, just more expensive.

I'll have to settle for a stock MTB with Big Apple/Fat Frank fat tires. Its a more affordable budget fat tire bike. I like a diamond frame with balloon tires. I'd be all over the Beast if it had been spec'ed with more reasonable gearing and disc brakes.
