wide springer fork?

Anyone know of a good springer fork that will fit a 3.5 inch wide tire on a 50mm rim? Looking for one for a chopper build, preferably black

seems like i have seen it done, but i don't remember where, and i think it was done by the builder. check all the custom bike forums (chopaderos, rat rod bikes, low and slow etc.) and maybe you'll stumble across it. also maybe try a place that i think is called bikebuilder.com (not at home so i don't have a link i saved to be sure), and chopperus.com. maybe layitlow.com also (these are popping into my head as i write, so the spelling may not be exactly right either). if nothing else, someone at one of those places might be better able to point you to it.

after typing all that, i remembered i have one, but it may not work for you. look around for one of the newer schwinn manta rays. the ones that had a 20x4 rear tire. they have a wide front tire also, but with a 16' wheel, and i don't think you could get more than a 20" on it. but if you could get the fork, maybe you could use the wider top pieces with longer leg pieces. i can't gaurantee that, but if you came across the fork cheap enough it might be worth a shot.
