Suntour NEX4610 fork modification
Hi,
On my trekking bike I’ve got a Suntour NEX4610 V2 fork which is ideal for my style of riding (woodland tracks, mild off-road, small jumps, etc.) It’s well lubed and performs great.
From what I can find out, the left leg has a medium spring, and the right leg contains the lock-out cartridge, which I never use.
As the actual suspension comes from the spring in the left leg, could I remove the lock-out cartridge completely (for me it’s dead weight) without affecting the suspension performance?
As far as I can see, the cartridge doesn't have to be there.
Is that right?
