i went to search forums and although it wasn't verified, european frames like colnago, merckx, bianchi, ect use english threaded headsets on 1 inch threaded forks, some guy said there is no italian threaded headsets , just bottom brackets. that i know. all my frames used english. just isn't sure about this 93 colnago master olympic that i'm receiving soon. i plan to install a campy record headset, just need to be sure

Anything within the last 25 years or so will be ISO (English) threaded 1"x24tpi.
Older forks may have an "Italian" thread, which is also 1"x24tpi, but has a Whitworth 55° degree thread profile, vs. the 60° profile of ISO (English) threads. The headsets will cross fit between Italian and ISO threads, but the class of fit will be less than ideal, either tight and needing to be forced a bit, or a bit sloppy depending on whether it's the headset or fork that has the 55° profile.
For your purposes it's a no sweat kind of thing, and might (might not will) only create issues if you were to switch back and forth between an ISO and Whitworth headset on the same fork.
