Fresh out of the box, there was a bit of white grease inside of the bag and the cap from the non drive side is covered in it. Just curious because this is only the second GXP BB I've ever worked with and the first one did not have all that grease. Leaking? Normal? Sorry if this is dumb question.

Completely normal. The bearing grease is different from the white grease. It's a packaging thing. The upside is you can use the excess grease for assembly.
