Agreed. Once you've done it enough it surely becomes so automatic you can even do it after two beers. :beer:

It is incomprehensible to me that you can do this and not realize you're forking it up.

It was because it wasn't me that did it, it was the kid. I did not properly supervise him, or even check his work.

I realize that, but how can anybody successfully fully tighten reverse threaded pedals in a forward threaded hole?

I can easily tell if I have something cross threaded that is a clockwise bolt in a clockwise hole.
