Freehub replacement question
Picked up a almost mint set of Shimano Tricolor hubs for a 650b project I am doing this winter. The only problem is it is a 7 speed Uniglide and since those are like hens teeth I want to change the freehub to a Hyperglide 8 speed. My question is which freehub to buy? I would like to stay with Shimano. So a 105 or???
Your advice would be great!

Even the Sub 105 stuff is fine the rubber boots that keep the crud out of the grease are a feature on hubs in $300 bikes now.
Touring the mid line stuff is adequate and when You damage a rim, the wheel the shops have will be the same level
so You dont have a fancy hub cut out & mailed home , because no one has the time in the summer for a custom While you wait wheel Build.
Here the 520 on the floor is often down 1 wheel when it gets sold to a Touring rider . that needed it..
