Ksyrium SL hub questions

Just got a set of Kysrium ssc sl about 400 miles ago. I noticed last week that the wheel seemed sloppy side to side when locked into my fork. The LBS tightened my hub saying they were just breaking in. Then I rode them early this week and noticed a new, fairly loud and annoying creaking sound clearly coming from upfront. Did they over tighten the hub? Did i just get a crap set of kysriums that have to be too tight or too lose? Any opinions greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
~Z

They should have come with a four pin tool to adjust the bearing, you just snug them up, they do not need to be super tight You can do it on the bike or remove the wheel and hold the axle with an allen wrench so you can feel the bearing better. Make sure your QR is tight this will let it squeak some. If you have ridden it in the rain you might want to lube the contact points at each end of the spoke, they can get creaky if they get wet and a little grit gets in the ball end.
