Sun Rims CR-18 rim tape width
What width of rim tape would be sized well for a CR-18 rim? I've used 17mm zefal cloth tape on the narrower M13II rim with good success provided I laid it down without interfering with the rim hooks. Would the slightly wider CR-18 also use 17mm without issue? Next size up is 22mm which may be too wide.

Narrow.. dont cover the bead seat on the inside edges, either , just the space inbetween.
just enough to cover the holes bored over the grommets .. Or you make tires harder to fit.
I expect you can measure your rim yourself. it's much less than 17mm..
as offered below.. 14 is probably about it, max..
Not the whole width between the rim Flanges

I use Continental Easy-Tape; it is thin and slick and makes mounting tight tires easier. In 622 size it is available in widths from 14 to 26mm; 18 or 20mm should work for that rim. https://blobs.continental-tires.com/w...ip-en-data.pdf
