ISO flat bar end plug hack
My Masi handlebar has thick walls, so the traditional handlebar plugs are too big. The ID is about 5/8". I'm lookin for something cheap/free. A wine bottle cork would be great, cept I don't drink.
BTW, I've been ridin around w/o plugs since February, np. What is the purpose of end plugs anyway for a flat bar bike? |

It doesn't take much to be a hacker these days. (sigh)

Maybe a set of the type that screw in and are removable? Like these?
ODI Aluminum End Plug > Components > Grips & Tape > Bar Plugs | Jenson USA These have a smaller plug part that looks like it would slide into just about anything. Then lock them down using a hex wrench. |
