Upgrading 2015 Jamis Coda Comp To SRAM Rival 1x
I just purchased this bike as a commuter/recreational bike. I don't have experience with anything other than mountain bikes and mountain bike components, so I am looking to get some advice.
I mostly purchased this bike for the frame, which I love. However much of the rest needs some help.
It currently has Shimano Easy Fire Plus ST-EZ65 shifters with Altus M370 derailleurs front and back.
It also has a Acera FCM371 crankset (FSA 68x110.5mm BB) with a Shimano 9 speed 11-32 cassette.
My first goal is to upgrade the drivetrain and I have been looking at the SRAM Rival 1 with a trigger shifter.
After looking at their guides it looks like my best options would be a 42T crank with a 11-32 cassette (kinda guessing at these).
So, I am looking for input and insight into a couple of things.
First, any compatibility and installing issues or concerns anyone may see.
Also, any insight on the gearing setup will be welcome. This will be my first bike for commuting/recreation and have little experience with them. I live in the twin cities, so I don't have much steep terrain to deal with. Some areas of rolling hills, but mostly relatively flat.
Anything else anyone wants to chime in on....I am new to the forum, so feel free to ask anything.
Thanks in advance.

You will probably find the FSA BB is really 122.5mm as I did on my 2013 Coda Comp.... not what it says on their spec sheet.

It was a nice riding bike.....mine stolen in Oakland 6 months ago. I put Origin8 48/38/28 Treking crank on and 110mm Tange BB.
Took off about a pound. 105 long cage RD, left the front DR. Changed bars, saddle and brakes, cassette. Rack.
About $1k worth.
