Replacing BR-CX50 Cantis with Kool Stops - Are these right?
My Bianchi Volpe needs new brake pads. I've heard such good things about the Kool Stops with the salmon colored compound that I'd like to try them out. The current brakes are BR-CX50s. My problem is that I can't figure out which Kool Stops are the right ones. I'm feeling like a dunce!
Can anyone tell me if these are the ones I want?

I'm looking for the best performance I can get when the rims are wet.
Thanks!

Okay. So I can use these pads, but need to keep my hardware. Thanks. I'm guessing they also make some that have the right bolt already attached. I've sent an e-mail to customer service to see about that.

Yeah, I just realized this myself. According to customer service at Kool Stop there were two versions of the CX-50, one that came with an aluminum holder so that you could use brake pad inserts and another (like mine) that has the brake pad directly on the post. So, it looks like using the Kool Stops is out for me. Shoot.

Perhaps Tektro sells something?

Guess few respondents are actually Mechanics. RTFM.
The ones you Highlighted Can work But not with the Short Bolts
See: https://www.shimano.com/media/techdoc...9830767904.pdf
NB the spacer and bolt combinations [L,M, S,] though a Cupped V brake spacer and a Squared off spacer behind that May do ..
V brake pads have a Long Bolt integrated, and attach with a Nut, and they tend to be longer pads.
