Clamp on pump peg?

Anyone make a clamp on pump peg? Specifically looking for one that clamps to the top tube, with an L shaped peg that drops down.

Zefal used to make one, I believe, but I can't find one now. I had been hoping the folks at Problem Solvers would have something. But no such luck.

Don't know of a current source for the clamp-on style, but I just use a ziptie around the headtube with the little knob of the ziptie clamp acting as the pump peg. Mine has been working fine for years, but if you have trouble getting it tight enough it helps to put a cut piece of an old inner tube under the ziptie.

This appears to be their UK site: Pump pegs 105 XXL - ZEFAL . Has Zefal disappeared from the the US entirely?

Rixen Kaul makes a very nice one with a stainless steel band - I've have them on several bikes and they stay tight yet are still removable.

Check with old well established bike shops. They were once common for mounting the long top tube pumps. Keep looking I sure you will find a shop that has one.

I have a couple of those on bikes and like them. The advantage over the traditional chromed steel ones is that they can accommodate a variety of tube diameters, and they're plastic so they don't mar the paint. For my son's Cannondale with monster diameter top tube I ended up brazing the umbrella part of a chromed clamp onto a stainless steel hose clamp, but that was before I found the Zéfal clamps.

If you cannot find the Ones mentioned here, Put in a riv nut and fabricate a screw in pump peg to thread into it.

Try searching for an electrical tie down strap with a push plug molded into it such as this. https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl...act=mrc&uact=8 or this https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=...66005728337290 Different versions are available if you want to spend the time to search.

+1 on the Rixen & Kaul. Got mine from Wallingford Bike Parts - wallbike.com - in New Orleans. Don't know if they're still in business. Have also used one as a chain hanger on my touring bike.

The Zefal ones are not on the US site. I wonder if I can just order from the euro site?

I have some similar pegs on my Raleigh...very nice, inexpensive, easy to install and adjust for any length of pump.
