Turn old Briefcase into Tool Case?

I have an old briefcase that I'd like to use for my bike-specific tools. I could use some ideas how to add some partitions so my stuff just doesn't rattle around in there.

Open to any ideas and suggestions! Pics are helpful, too.

Chunks of foam fit to the insides, cut out shapes for each tool. Would be way cooler than my plastic tool box...

Does anyone still make canvas tool rolls? That would be an option as well.

That wheel was invented long ago -- hit craigslist, the swap meet and the local ham radio club meeting for the pallets used in electronic tool cases.

Bikes: '96 Litespeed Catalyst, '05 Litespeed Firenze, '06 Litespeed Tuscany, '20 Surly Midnight Special, All are 3x10. It is hilly around here!

There is a type of foam sheet prescored into 1/2" cubes and you pull them out to form the outline of each tool. It's known as "Pick and Pluck" foam and it sold by many home improvement, sewing and fabric stores.

Here is one example: https://www.onlinefabricstore.net/ch...-bkaAniF8P8HAQ
