Unlike the other companies, Campagnolo didn't switch to flush riveted chains until they moved to 10 cogs.

That's right, I have a Campagnolo maintenance manual from the late '90s, 9sp era. It specifies using Campagnolo chain pliers for installing/uninstalling the chain, but doesn't say anything about using new pins.

I thought when the 10 speed came out that Campagnolo had a special chain tool that could peen the pin with a flat plate that flipped over the end when driving the pin back into the chain.

Find reused pin in chain

Is there any trick to find the pin that was reused?
I didn't know reusing pins was no longer a thing and now that I do I can't find the pin that I rejoined.
I can't see any difference between the links.
