BB386Evo to 41mm (BB86) reducer?
Hello,
I got a Cipollini frameset from a friend and tried to build it up. The bottom bracket type is BB386Evo. It came with two plastic cups to reduce 46mm shell (386Evo) to 41mm diameter (BB86/92), so that Shimano SM-BB92-41B bottom bracket can be installed for Shimano crankset.
The plastic cups were cracked when my friend tried to removed crankset. Thus, I need to find replacements, however, the cups don't have any brand/model info. I tried to google but nothing came up. Searches only showed adapters to support different crank types, but nothing for different bottom brackets.
Please, let me know where I can find such reducers/adapters. Thanks in advance for your helps.

How about contacting your local dealer for Cipollini?

When I bought my BH G6 with same bracket, at the shop they told me about the possibility of putting adapters so I could use my SRAM Red GXP crankset. Finally, after reading about it and talking with some other mechanics I decided to buy a FSA SLK crankset suitable for my BB386Evo and avoid using adapters.
I've worked in the past as a mechanic as well, and adapters are not the most recommendable solution for anything. If possible, try to avoid them on your bike.
