Bikes: too many bikes from 1967 10s (5x2)Frejus to a Sumitomo Ti/Chorus aluminum 10s (10x2), plus one non-susp mtn bike I use as my commuter
All that matters mechanically is that it's long enough and the width is compatible with the cranks and cassettes, ie. 8s, 9s 10s etc.
Other than that, you can spend differently for some improvement in both overall quality and cosmetics. As a rough rule, there are mechanical quality differences between lower and mid range chains, but the differences from mid to top range are mostly about weight and cosmetics.
One word of warning, many mega drivetrains need chains longer than the typical 112-114n links, so you might need two chains

any 6-7-8 chain will work... most opt for a KMC... Z72 or Z51 will work fine

FWIW, bicycle chains are standardized around imperial (inch) standards, not metric. All derailleur chains have 1/2" pitch, and until you get to 10s chains, 3/32" nominal width, based on the sprockets they fit.
So, it's easier to work in inches, whereally, for example, the length in inches is equal to the the numple of full links (inner plus outer).
