Marzocchi air preload ADAPTER?

What is this adapter that they speak of? Won't my (high pressure shock) pump allow me to adjust the preload on an MX Comp fork? Do I need an adapter in between my pump and my fork?

The adapter comes with the fork. You can order it from marzocchi if you dont have one. It is a male/male adapter, and one side is really tiny for the air cap. Thats only for the forks with the damper adjustment knob and air in the same cap.

Forks such as the Dirt Jumper series have a plain old schrader valve that doesnt require an adapter.
